Agent/Witness: Panther
Base: Cleveland, Tennessee
Date/Time: December 19, 2003/2200 hours
Incident: I was doing my usual roundabout check near the woods like I do every week about this day and time when I happened to notice blood traces leading from the concrete edge toward a trail in the woods. I wasn't sure if whatever it was that the blood led to was still around or not, so I stayed my distance and turned off my flashlight. I didn't want anything or anyone to be alarmed. In my neighborhood people get really suspicious when they see some light in a field near the woods.
Anyway, I decided that maybe I should come back and look to see where the wooded trail led to in the daytime, so I headed back. So far I have found streams and a cave, but I have yet to look on back. I have a feeling I won't like what I find. I'm falling back until I can get some backup with me.
This case has turned out to be more than what I expected. I'll continue to look for any evidence that will hopefully present itself to me. I'll keep you informed on this case.
