Incident: I was able to get into contact with a private investigator who had also researched the link between the Santa Rosa Institute and the recent spate of murders. He theorized that persons as yet unknown had been attempting to gain access to the Institute itself, were discovered and fled to England. He also believed that someone on the board of directors dispatched a vampiric hit man after the group.

However , before we could meet, he was attacked whilst interviewing a tramp who claimed to know something. Both he and the tramp were slain.

Which leaves me at square one again. I believe that one of the Institute's experiments may have gone wrong and they are trying to cover it up.
