Doing the happy dance.
My Saiga 12 finally got back from Atlanta.
Now all I have to do is wait for the trigger guard they forgot to send with it to get here.
Then it's off to the shop! _________________ Palmettoshootersforum.com |

I often sit at my desk and clean a pistol I shot at lunchtime.
The new secretaries generally freak out but the ones that have been there for a while clue them.
The owner of the company stuck his head in my door last week and asked if heard a bolt racking that morning.
He didn't have time to stop by and see what it was.
I told him yes it was my Arsenal AK I had brought it in to show to the sales manager across the hall.
He just smiled and shook his head walking off.
He is not into black rifles he big game hunts.
Last year was Siberia for a bear.
The year before was Africa again.
This year was Argentina for birds stopping off in Brazil for a side trip down the Amazon to catch some kind of fish. _________________ Palmettoshootersforum.com |

I don't know but I am sure it was a lot.
Two years ago when he went to Africa a local official (read that punk ass village cop) confiscated a $15,000 custom rifle.
He got it back but it took a while and he didn't get to hunt with it.
He told me he is never going to take his own guns again, he is going to use the guides guns.
I thought he should have offered to grease the palm of the official.
But alas they are more corrupt than the orientals, he suggested the same thing to the guide who was mortified at the idea.
Seems he would have been locked up for attempting to bribe an official and then the gun would have been gone for sure and HUGE ASS fines would have been levied and if he fought the fines he would have been shipped off to the big house for a couple of years to await trial.
I wonder how the guide knew this? _________________ Palmettoshootersforum.com |
