Bob, not the same level of pucker or risk at all but I had a "hit the MF'er and it just don't hurt him!" series of dreams thanks to somethin like that. Imagine the psychology is somewhat similar. _________________ And it's on through the night

I used to have that same issue with dreaming, but I never understood why. Maybe it was the fear that if I ever got in a fight I wouldn't have what it takes to defend myself, even though I'm probably more than capable. _________________ I DON'T WANNA GO DOWN TO THE BASEMENT

Could be Tron. Its a weird one. Part of that "shared subconscious" phenomenon I guess. Can't say the reason, but I've heard about it from people a lot more badass than us. Dunno if its just insecurity, or if its as common as falling, being nude at school and all those other stereotypes. _________________ And it's on through the night

I've had that sort of dream before. I go to punch someone I'm in a fight with, but by the time my fist reaches their face I'm not putting any power into it. In those dreams I can't bring myself to harm someone who's trying to hurt me. Not a fun dream.
But what fascinates me about zombies is that they make things simple. All of a sudden the only rules left in the world those of survival. No one telling me I have to get out of bed in the morning but me. If I get bored in one place I'm free to go elsewhere. No more paying $4 tolls to cross a bridge. No more taxes. And best of all, common sense might finally make a comeback for those who survive. _________________ What doesn't kill me only delays the inevitable.

I just want to say one more thing about dreams, I swear! The scariest for me are the ones that take place in real life, under very average circumstances. Like sitting down at my desk and crushing my glasses, or failing school, getting hit by a car, receiving a horrible phone-call, etc.
Although I must say that I don't recall ever talking on the telephone in a dream.
I agree, Cyberdude! Zombies in a real-world setting would break everything down to survival of the fittest, right? Natural selection and all that. Laws of society would totally fall apart, economies crumble, and if you wanted something you would have to find it or make it yourself. That would be a very incredible experience, to live through something like that and be responsible for the future of mankind, free to make of it what you will.
But I have yet to see a movie express that very vividly. _________________ I DON'T WANNA GO DOWN TO THE BASEMENT

That sort of scenario sounds like it would fit better in a well-GM'd tabletop RPG than in a movie. _________________

In the dream where I died, a stranger in my home (apparently he was like a hitchhiker or something, if that makes sense.) slit my throat... _________________

First off, a $4 toll?
Holy Carp!
That's horrible...
Zombies are very straight ahead simple monsters.
That is why I say they are a guys monsters.
Vampires are girls monsters.
I keep trying to explain to the wimmin at work that they over think their relationships and that is why they keep failing.
Men are typically simple creatures.
It's all about beer and boobs with us.
Fine wine and seduction is just what we do to succeed.
We are happiest when things are more simple, hence beer and boobs. _________________ Palmettoshootersforum.com |

That's California. And that's just to go from Vallejo to Richmond down towards Oakland. It's $6 to cross the Golden Gate I believe.

I've dreamed several zombie movies. Sometimes I am in the dream. Sometimes I'm just a disembodied point of view... like I'm watching a movie.
Strangely enough, I am never frightened by these dreams, but I wake up oddly refreshed, like I've been drinking beer and watching bad movies all night... _________________ "Know Enough To Be Afraid"

One of the absolute worst dreams I ever had involved trying to fortify my house during a zombie outbreak and finding the only shotgun I had covered in rust and completely unusable _________________ Need a job done, contact Agency X, jobs done, no questions asked, ask for Sandi
