I bet you didn't know I had a band! Well, we are The Victims of Critism, and we recorded a demo a couple months back. We didn't practice at all, were stuck between a rock and a hard place in terms of recording time/scheduling, and overall we're very pleased with the results.

My favorite tracks are the bittersweet satire "Tonight" and the fairly epic instrumental "Trotski's Toenails". There are only three band members. Funky bass-man, tight drum-dude, and yours truly singing and guitaring.

The whole thing is less than half-an-hour long, so if you've got 20 minutes please listen to the demo front-to-back for maximum experience.

BTW, that's not actually our real drummer, but rather the sound-guy who helped us record. He really tried to be solid on the drums with us, and for that we thank him!

EDIT - Someone somewhere else pointed out that it's a .rar file, and many people don't have WinRar. I also have a slow internet and don't want to rezip it as a .zip file and re-upload it so you'll have to download winrar if you don't have it: http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar390.exe

The joke is that our name is spelled wrong. Criticism...get it?

What format is it in? I can't seem to find anything that'll play the demo.

The tracks are in a .rar file. You gotta download & install Winrar, which is like Winzip, but for .rar files, and extract them using WinRar like you would open a .zip file with WinZip. The songs themselves are in .wma format, so you can play them in Windows Media Player or your preferred media player.

EDIT - I was kinda lazy and didn't want to do it, but I knew I shoulda. I uploaded the tracks individually to my website under "Musick". The tracks are now all individual .mp3 files you can pick and download. The full demo is also available.
