Hey guys, I don't normally do this but I had applied for a freelance position drawing for a comic book that already had a publisher. Unfortunately I didn't have the style they were looking for. So, I decided to post some pictures on DeviantArt.
What this boils down to is I would REALLY like your comments on my art.

How long did you spend working on these? Have you taken any classes? You should be.
I think some pages are stronger than others, my favorite being the one where the alien-dude plugs into that cable and gets blasted with power. After that, I have to admit it becomes a little more confusing. Too much is happening, should be just one action per panel. And don't forget to always practice your basic shapes! As big as you can, from reference. Use charcoal if you can get it. If you're gonna use charcoal, then I'd get some kleenex to erase, and just re-work the same drawing over and over...until you get it close as you can. Fuck neatness when practicing like that, keep the focus on the shape.
Everything is made of basic shapes, so therefor by practicing those your drawing ability will overall become stronger and stronger. _________________ I DON'T WANNA GO DOWN TO THE BASEMENT

Pretty good drawing, but it did seem a bit confusing to me. Never stop practicing! _________________

Well... I'm sure it'd be less confusing if I had a script to go with it lol. But I appreciate the comments and I'll take them into consideration! _________________

Practice Practice Practice. The life of any artist this that you never stop practicing. Get yourself in a life drawing class, I'm sure you'll find one at a community college. Be prepared to draw alot of things that you hate to drawing, Its part of the process of learning, the instructors will help out you in every way possible.
If you don't want to go the route of getting into a life drawing class, pick up a small mannequin, you can get them at any art supply store and start posing and sketching them. Check out the link below. They're some books online that can help you out. Check out the link on the left hand side "All Related Books" that can bring you to many different online copies.

A really good site that i like for critiquing/help is http://www.penciljack.com/forum/ . Never take a bad critique to heart, look at it as a way to improve. And never ever ever ask a close friend or a family member for their opinions on your drawings they will always lie to you, just because they don't want to hurt your feelings. Your better off asking a stranger for their opinion they would be more honest to you.
Just keep practicing, carry a little drawing pad with you everywhere you go so that when your waiting for something like a bus/subway you can draw things like a bunch of facial expression or feet, or whatever Keep posting your stuff. _________________

I agree! Keep posting your drawings on deviantart. You can keep linking them here too.
I haven't taken a life-drawing class, yet. I'm still on mannequins _________________ I DON'T WANNA GO DOWN TO THE BASEMENT
