A Drunk “Vampire”

According to this Fox 8 News article, an intoxicated 21 year-old college student tried to break into a drug store. When arrested, he claimed to be a 100 year-old vampire, threatening to suck an officer’s blood, and kill both him and his family. At the station, he threatened to eat a female officer’s kidney. He’s pleaded not guilty to charges of breaking and entering, disorderly conduct, and intimidation.

I wonder what his defense could be Question

Too bad you can't get away with it, though.

”Vampires” Attack Flirtatious New Zealander

According to these Sun and ABC News articles, 3 “vampires” attacked a man trying to flirt with one of their girlfriends at a party. All 3 bit the victim’s neck and 2 drank his blood, causing him to become unconscious.

One of the 3 admitted that he had bitten the victim, but denied he was a vampire or that he drank blood, “That wasn't me. Do I look like a vampire? I'm out during the day time.“ If true, does that make him a quasi, fledgling or pseudo “vampire” Question

Another New Zealand Vampire Attack

This time it happened in a clearing outside Wellington, according to New Zealand Stuff. After an evening of drinking, the male victim was placed in a choke hold while 2 “vampires” sucked his blood, biting him in the forearm, torso and neck until he lost consciousness. The group walked back to town when the victim awoke.

The victim recalled “I thought the life was leaving me . . . As a result of the incident I was completely thrown and it completely changed the way I feel about things and look at the world.”

Soon New Zealand’s judicial system will change how the 2 vamps, along with their 19-year old girlfriend, look at the world.

Are the perpetrators vampires who are drunk or drunks who think they’re vampires? One thing is certain: blood and alcohol don’t mix–except perhaps in New Zealand.
