Looks like the Supreme Court is going to take up the challenge to Chicagos handgun ban early next year. Hopefully we'll see the same outcome as in the Heller case. This one is even more important. It will decide whether the 2nd Amendment applies to the states as well.

This will be just a part of the "States' Rights" argument. Gun control is a part of it, and for most of us we understand what "shall not be infringed" means. This will be a big victory for the citizen if it goes as some commentators expect, 5-4 to strike down the ban.
