| London sewer |
It stank a lot down there, and there were quite a few rats and a lot of wolf spiders. We were walking down the tunnel when my friend's flashlight caught a man wearing a white shirt. We thought it was a homeless person, so as usual my friends insulted the guy. He turned around, grabbed my friend and bit him on the shoulder. He then went to bite him in the neck, but my other friend and I grabbed him and pushed him to the ground while my friend who got bit ran to the ladder. The man was rather stiff in his movements, and had a bandage on his right hand.
My friend spotted more homeless people approaching, so we ran to the ladder, only to find the guy we knocked down was back up and trying to grab my leg. He bit me on my left ankle and I let go of the ladder. Luckily, my friend topside grabbed my hand and pulled me up. I then felt several hands on my leg and I cried out. My friend managed to get me topside, but when we were trying to get the manhole cover over the hole, a face appeared with cracked skin, a lopsided jaw and blood in its mouth. My uninjured friend kicked it in the face and we dropped the lid.
I realized I had been bitten twice and then I started to vomit badly. My friend phoned the emergency services and got us an ambulance, but it wasn't only an ambulance that arrived: the armed police showed up too, and they went down into the sewer. When we got to hospital, I was expecting to get antibiotics and such, but I received loads of injections; more than I thought necessary. When I asked what they were giving me, they ignored me and carried on about staying calm.
I told the cops everything about the people that attacked me. The cops said the attackers had been cannibals, and that they had been jailed for their offenses.
I've only been out of hospital two weeks, but I've been drinking heavily to get rid of the memories of that face coming out of the sewer and the loss of my friend, who passed away the second day of our treatment (he never went into a coma). They said it was due to bacteria from the bite.
I'm not sure whether or not this site is for real or is for entertainment purposes, but this really happened to me.
Comment from Dr. Pecos: There are a couple of lessons to be learned here: one, stay out of the sewers, and two, don't make fun of homeless people. Sewers, abandoned muildings and mines are common hiding places for both vampires and zombies. As for your deceased friend, indeed it is possible to die from septic shock related to a zombie bite.
