Even though Miss Griffey is not the most credible witness, her description of the attack does sound credible. A feeding vampire usually clamped itself to the victim's throat in order to stifle the victim's screams while it fed. But given Miss Griffey's place in life, it's entirely possible she is fishing for the $25 reward given to people whose tips lead to the destruction of a vampire pack. Better to make a few phone calls and seek corroboration.
